based on Rooters post in the grandpa car thread....

twitter comp. i dont buy anything.

joking aside, i think i am getting a bad reputation, i have now won that much stuff!! and no lottery wins either!!

I thought it might be 'fun' to list what you have won and when?

Lots of things. Lucky get me :D the things that stand out though are a hand built valve amplifier for my hifi and most recently a pair of Footjoy sport shoes. Enter everything, you never know.

A set of MP-54's from GM and Mizuno.
A week later I won a dozen Titleist balls in our pro shop on-line raffle.
A couple of years ago I won a dozen Callaway HX for filling out a survey about golfing in Wales.
20 odd years ago I won a holiday to Corfu for a week.

Golfing wise - PYB Finals day and then a round with the gorgeous Tom Lewis :o Also played twice in the Nespresso Trophy at Woburn...

Biggest non golfing was a new car for a year. When Daewoo first came to the UK they had a competition to win a new car for the year, all expenses except fuel paid for. Had to review it each month and then offered it cheap at the end of the year - didn't buy it!

1993: Won a year's supply of crisps. Unfortunately only one flavour allowed so we picked Tomato Sauce flavour (why?)

Every month, a big box of 48 packets arrived. Sick of them after 2 months. Then, Golden Wonder had a promo so the box capacity went up to 60. Packets everywhere. Ended up giving them away to friends. Never had a packet of that flavour since.

When the Computer show was on at the NEC many many moons ago (I was 15 or 16), I won a computer game, but then found out that everyone that entered the comp got one, so not sure that counts.

And more recently, I was picked to go to 'The Grove' for the New Golf Thinking day.

Oh aye, once won £50 on a scratch card.

That's it all, I enter a load of comps, to win various stuff, but thus far I still not won anything.

do you want a list?

(and you have typo'd my quote you cheeky monkey!! NOT won that much stuff...)

yes a list would be good.

I didn't touch your quote, bad show to mess with someones quote.

here it is again

ooops! i meant to type NOT!

ok, so my list:

From the TM day (which others also got and as MikeH says, its not a prize, its an opportunity!!!)
R1 driver
2 x rbz2 hybrids
Rbladez Irons
Cap
dozen balls
Adizero tour shoes
Round on Wentworth West

Adizero One shoes
bettinardi cap
2 ball at royal portcawl (Which i donated and raised £120 to H4H!)
Yes! callie putter
Putting lesson from David Howell

Think thats it...

A place in a Pro-Am 5 hole scramble at Bearwood Lakes with Srixon/Cleveland
David Howell was our Pro, our illustrious leader MikeH and some guy from Nevada Bob's made up our team.
It was filmed for Sky Sports, we were interviews by Di Stewart ( as was). Other Pros there were Stensen, Jiminez and Kjeldsen.....and we won! Prize was a Launcher 3 wood
The Callaway fitting at Wentworth that included more filming!
MikeH put up an impromptu comp on Twitter one day and I won a dozen ZStars
A dozen Callaway balls in a Fantasy league from another mag.
In my Cricket days I was Player of the Month once and won Bowler of the year for taking 10 for 23 in a League game.

Haven't won anything as far as I can remember. Did 'win' some 4 balls in the H4H auction, but they cost me a fortune.;) I think it is like 'winning' things on ebay.

Rooter obviously got all my luck.:(:)

I won a Callaway driver a couple of years ago but unfortunately the instructions on how to use were missing.

Only one hand in a game of strip snap (she couldn't play poker - well not that type anyway) with a lady in Butlins.:o

She was a very badly behaved teacher, but had the reflexes of a cat.

That is bloody obscene.

Golf wise loads

About 5 pairs of shoes
Loads of tops , bags , shoes , wedges

Non golf

Won an all expenses paid trip to the 1987 Super Bowl

In 1998 I won an aprillia Area 51 scooter. It was at a max power car show and I was the uk driving (cars not golf balls) champion. I won a steering wheel controller and about ten games too. That's my claim to fame haha. Golf wise, Im yet to take any board comps........yet :D

As far as golf goes, I've only ever had my recent Benross clubs (courtesy of GM). Which are great, btw, with the possible exception of the driver which is making frequent visits to the naughty step.

Non golf, my only big prizes have both been football related. I've had an all expenses VIP day at Old Trafford including being chauffeur-driven up there, a morning at Carrington training and playing 5-a-side with a couple of the Man U Legends and then taking a penalty on the pitch at half time. It was the time that Spurs were 2 up at half time and then Man U came back to win 5-2, hell of a game. All courtesy of Audi and a competition in the Guardian.

I also took penalties on the pitch at Wembley at half time during an England game, thanks to a Nationwide comp when they were sponsors. No VIP stuff, I had to get myself there and pay for everything other then the ticket but it's actually more memorable because it was a proper competition, me and two other blokes in a shoot-out and I won! I remember asking them both beforehand if they had been practising and they both said No?!! OK, so over 50% of the crowd is off having an over-priced burger and beer but there's still 30,000 people watching you which was about 29,900 more than I'd ever had watch me play sport before. Why would you not spend an hour the day before making sure you can kick it in the corner?

I also haven't yet checked tonight's Euromillions numbers. :p
