Just wondered what everyone had on this weekend golfwise. For me, games Saturday and Sunday. 3rd Division Open @ Hull Golf Club. Nice track, I've played it a lot over the years so looking forward to it.

Last 3rd Division Open (hopefully), now that I'm off 14. Entered before my cut so still ok to play. I'll have no chance off 14. Not least because the guy who shot 49 points last weekend is in the field. He was cut from 19.1 to 16.4 which still gives him a fair number of shots!

Then Millenium Trophy betterball event on Sunday. Not too excited about that. I used to really enjoy playing in pair or team events. Now I seem to find I enjoy individual events much more.

So what have you got on?
 
No golf for me this weekend, taking the wife away Sat& Sun, it's her birthday!

Medal tomorrow morning, and stairwell decorating on Sunday.

Next weekend is the big one, out Millenium comp: foursomes on Saturday, greensomes on Sunday, followed by 4BBB on the following Saturday.

Pity my partner is the worst 4 h/cap golfer I have ever met.
 
It's our major open weekend. 10-20 h'cap Saturday and field of 99 single figures playing 36 holes on Sunday. Can't play Sunday either as I've got to do stuff as vice captain :( but there again there's a free meal (and bar) with all the local visiting Captains so it ain't that bad. :D :D
 
Texas Scramble, about 25 teams entered teeing off all afternoon. £7.50 entry, includes burger, chips and a pint afterwards. Winners get the sofa in front of the massive TV and free beer throughout the England v USA match.

It's 9 hole comp with kebabs and beer for Algeria match, and 9 holes with goulash and beer for Slovenia. Hopefully England will get through the group stage so we can have some more fun comps.
 
Playing at Belton Park GC in Grantham, Lincs with some (very) old mates of mine who I haven't seen in nearly 6 months.

It's my old course, and I'm hoping we're going to play all 27 holes, but I did jar my thumb at american football practice last night so hopefully it will losen up for tomorrow.

Looking forward to it though!

Then it's World Cup and beer tomorrow night in the Woodhall Spa local boozer.
 
I'm fixing the garden fence tomorrow and was hoping to help Murph with his stairwell job on Sunday. Sadly, Teegirl is away playing at Rufford all day so I'll wash my hair instead. :D

That's a cracking idea for a prize. Well done to your club and whoever thought of that. Great idea.
 
no golf this weekend. getting up at 4am tomorrow to fly to Seattle :)

golfing on gold mountain olympic course on tuesday though :)
