The walkman thread brought back memories........we had an old music system in the garage, turntable/speakers/amp etc all wrapped up and great nick.........but who uses that these days of digital music so we chucked it in the dump during a spring clearout, only a 'top of the range in it's day' B&O system:eek:

When I was buying a B&O system a few years later they said it was still worth about three grand:mmm::mmm::mmm:


Any - non golf - clearout regrets?

I'm not one to hoard and try to work on an 18-24 month rule...if I haven't used it in 2 years I ain't gonna use it again - so it goes.
HID on the other hand......

No regrets though.
 
Football tickets. A few years ago we had a deal with the local bus company that travel was included with a match ticket. After we managed to throw away a 3 goal lead to lose at home to Leeds I threw my tickets on the pitch in fury. Oh how I laughed when i got to the bus stop to realise the bus tickets were still attached...:rolleyes:
 
When i first got married I had a scruffy pair of Ron hull Union Jack running shorts, (never run in me life), I did everything in them shorts.they were a part of me. Anyway one day I was looking for um and cud I Eck as like find um. after about half a dozen times of trying to find um I lost me rag turning the house upside down looking for um.

missis tash then owned up that she had slung um a month earlier, she said she cud not stand um. I was gutted, how cud she not like um, I was gutted she had lied to me about me shorts. God how I miss um. In fact am gonna remind her again about the day she ripped me heart out.

My mum chucked out a lot of my scrapbooks with all local and national press coverage. Now we're about to start adopting it was something I'd love to have been able to show them. I was annoyed at the time but with my mum no longer here it's something I've got over and I'll just encourage our little person to make their own headlines
