Good evening,

I played in my medal this afternoon, and somehow managed to shoot a net 62!

But the problem is, it was the 3rd of my 3 competitions needed to make my handicap active.

So im just wondering, if my 62 was enough to win.......could i actually win?

Can it be a net anything if you didn't have a handicap?

In you had a h/cap from last year but didn't complete the required cards then yes it would still be a 'net anything' and your adjustment would still happen. You just can't be placed in the competition.

Yes it can. He was submitting the third of his cards to make his handicap active - he still has a handicap even if inactive. As to whether he can win anything, that is entirely up to the club's rules. The club can elect to allow inactive handicappers to compete but not win prizes until becoming active, or it can allow inactive handicappers to compete and win the same as any other competitor.

My hcp does have a c next to it on the club sheet. But im not sure what it actually means.

If you have a 'c' you are active. 'c' is the new way of indicating active\inactive handicaps. Anyone without a 'c' is inactive and would previously have had an 'i'. I'd say you are ok. Good luck

Great shooting yesterday Mr Bandit ;)
Is the "c" on the handicap list next to the locker room? Didn't check to see if mine has been made active yet but I can't see how as we'd only played 2 comps before yesterday.

Haha.

yeah its on the handicap list mate. Ill just keep checking the website every two minutes to find out lol.

It's called progress . If your handicap was inactive you would have an 'i' next to it. Now if inactive you have nothing and a 'c' if active.

EEU must have been involved.
