what happened in turkey ?

Been looking at the day 1 results for the golf in turkey and its says PLAY SUSPENDED DUE TO DARKNESS with the likes of tiger and rose only played 10 holes, did the event organizers forget it gets dark ? as tigers group still have about 2 hours of play so it seems it was very poorly organized. How can this happen or have i got the wrong end of the stick ?
