What gear have you changed mid season.

I was wondering? I’ve changed from my Ping Zing putter to a Yes Valerie, from my G10 10.5 Dgr Reg shaft driver to a Nike Sasquatch Sumo driver, not the square one, with a stiff shaft. I didn’t think the stiff would suite but it’s flying. I’ve also ditched my Taylormade wedges for two 52 and 56 degree Vokey’s.

Oh, my mate has just got a set of the new Taylormade TP MB smoke irons with rifle shafts. You don’t play with these clubs you just look at them.........and save up.

I have never found shiny kit syndrome to be season specific.

Benross SR3 putter to a TM spider, 3 wood is next really tempted by the Burner 3 wood.

I won a Ping B60 the other week and decided to keep it rather than swapping it for credit in the pro shop. Based on the Ping on-line fitting it's the right size (35" Black spot). I think I'll give it a try this week.

I damaged my sandwedge (56° Cleveland TA900) and replaced it by a Cleveland CG12 54°

Have changed a couple of clubs, my putter because I was not getting on with the old one, and my driver because I tried a lower loft driver and it was not working for me so went back to the 12 degree.

Have added a 3 wood to the bag for a couple of long par 5s on my new course.

Changed my putter from a Yes Hannah to a Yes Natalie (the one that looks like a branding iron) and I love it.

I got a nice new Mizuno driver and changed the heads on my irons for something more forgiving (Orka Kii).

Changed driver 2x from Wilson Staff Nd6 to a Nickent 3DX to a Bridgestone J33R.
Took 3 iron out of bag and put a Cobra Baffler pro 23 degree hybrid in.
Putter has changed from a Scotty circa 62 no.3 to an Odyssey White hot XG no.5 CS.

Old Cobra irons to Mizunos; also Ping Anser putter for Scotty Red X3. All old gear that needed moving on (worn, rusty etc.).

Odyssey 2-ball to TM Rossa Siena 4 which is a sexy looking and useful putter.

Changed from Cobra 2300 Irons to The titleist 755's which are awesome.

Changed putter form TM monza corsa, to Mizzy bettinardi then to Rife 2bar hybrid (Better on faster greens)
Driver changed from TM R7 (reg) to Mizzy mp600 (stiff Custom Fit)
Currently waiting for delivery of new irons, Mizzy MP57 to replace Cally X20's.
Others i will decide on once I have played with new sticks, prob replace wedges (to match) and 3 wood also

The irons I won in GM comp, went for fitting last week, while there I got CF driver, never been fitted for driver before so took the plunge whilst there.
Looking to match wedges to irons I think, Had my cally xtours a year now and groves are a little blunt so was looking to renew but will wait and see how I get on with irons.

Putters, I have six now but never felt as comfortable as I do with Rife or Bettinardi.

Balls stay the same

Just about everything. Changed my wood to Cleveland HI Bores around Eater (having changed my irons in January). Have just put the TM TP Z groove SW (56 degree) in my bag today replacing my Ben Hogan Apex. Bought a Cleveland 52 degree to fill a gap in my wedges. Got a Taylormade TM Bag (red & white) and GM kindly delivered my TM Rossa Monza Spider putter today which has gone into my bag replacing my Odyssey XG2 (2 ball blade).

G5 to a G10 driver and G5 3 wood to a TM Burner 3 wood.

Happy with the rest of my kit at the mo !

I changed my Macgregor Blades to Ping G10s- a massive change but my ball flight is much better now and I can stop anything from my 5 iron on even the shallowest greens. I am also comprising an ever growing list of what I am going to buy at some point this season:

1) 3 wood (probably G10)
2)50* & 58* Wedges (Probably Taylormade z grooves, Ping Tours or Vokeys)
3) New Driver (Anything without a Draw Bias!)

Should have them all by the end of September hopefully.

As for your mates new irons Tomo I have dreamed about these clubs and the only reason I want to get down to low single figures is not to become a decent golfer it is so I can justify a set of these beauties.
