What film have you seen that you absolutely must tell someone about?

I'm not talking about telling someone after they already asked what you have seen, but the movie you are bursting to share as you want them to see it based on any or all the following;

story/images/emotion/controversy/inspiring/acting/uniqueness/specialist/touching/horrifying/life changing/thought provoking/soundtrack etc etc

for me it started way back with,
the first Indiana Jones movie

I was at the premier of Alien and was blown away!

Legends of the Fall, It's a wonderful Life, On Golden Pond and Heaven can Wait (warren Beattie) I can never tire of watching.

Saving Private Ryan for all the categories above

Shawshank again for all the above..

Pulp Fiction again for all the above..

....I could actually go on and on now I'm thinking about it....:mmm:

over to you:cool:

Christ loads of them, in no specific order...

Undefeated
Taxi To The Darkside
Anvil, The Story Of Anvil
The Band's Visit
The Cove
Afghan Star

There's a billion more which have totally slipped my mind but it's a start :D

Marwencol, how could I forget that one.

The one's I continually return to watching, and feel I must share:

- Inception
- Southland Tales
- Anchorman (can't stop quoting it at work, with an equally fanatical colleague)
- Inglourious B'sterds
- Dazed & Confused
- Watchmen

To name but a few

Heat, as it can be seen as a thriller, actioner or a love story.

Last Samurai...like the history, theme, action...

Saving Private Ryan...realities of war :o

The Thing 1982...brilliant sci-fi

The Bourne Identity...saw it when it first came out...underground hit actioner that went global

Watchmen, Extended Cut...must be seen big and loud. Hard hitting sci-fi

Also
Inception
True Romance
Training Day
Django unchained
Super Bad
Dusk Till Dawn (Salma Hayek-enough said)
American Gangster

Going back a bit it was "Heat" for me... The first time ever that De Niro and Pacino (Im a big fan) had done a scene together and alone.. It was when the confronted each other in the Cafe one was the good guy the other the bad etc.. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife. Awesome film.

Others for me were

Bullet
Shawshank
Papillion
Scarface
Godfather's etc etc
