What about honourable membership of the forum?

Just a thought that could we not offer (I know it is free) Honourable membership to selected Golfers to join the Forum?

We could ask them (or Mike H could... he has more clout than us) if they would not mind replying or starting a thread for all us to comment on about anything from the professional game to the amateur trying to get his card etc.

I would like to offer up the first potential candidate as Phil Mickelson! The reasoning behind this is not just one of the finest rounds of golf to win the Open but the sportsmanship he showed in the last Ryder Cup ( I believe he got slated in the States for clapping Justin's efforts) personal opinion seems a nice chap.

He might already be a member and just biding his time for which meet to attend. Obviously this will depend on whether the Callaway tour van is free to attend at the same time
