So over the past few weeks I've been getting myself into decent positions to make decent scores, and blowing it on woke bad hole! Out in -2 on Tuesday and shot +3!! So tonight!!

In a rush, rocked up to play in Friday medal. Had 4 birdies in first 7 holes! Stuffed it close at 8 and I'm wandering to the green dreaming of the course record (-5). Bang. 3Whack!

Followed the bogey up with a double at the par 5 9th, and this is where it would normally go downhill, not tonight! Canned a 20footer for birdie on 10 and made a great up and down on 11. Then bang, thinned wedge and a double! +1 after 12 and annoyed at myself!

Drove it just short of 13 and made my 6th birdie of the round! Made one bogey in the last 5 and had two other really good chances!

All in all, 6 birdies, 6 pars, 3 bogeys and 2 doubles for a +1 72 and my first cut of the season! Long May it continue, though hopefully a little more steady in the coming weeks!!

Not a chance William! I'd need someone else's brain! Homer, I know, but when you feel like you're "in the zone" it's hard not to let your brain wander!

Have to agree with Homer, might get that book he speaks off (although sounds similar in ways to stuff I have read before).

Not thinking ahead or about your score is VERY, VERY hard (if not impossible). Play each shot to the best of your ability and add them up at the end (if only it was as easy as typing this).
If you do that, sounds like you have a seriously good score coming - although I would bite your hand off for what you are already capable off :D, great shooting!
