What a great Honor

It was our gents presentation evening on Friday, after the dinner the top table disappeared for a few minutes and returned with our club captain carrying the RYDER CUP. It was brought to the evening by our guest speaker Mr Sandy Jones CEO of the PGA who gave a fantastic speech of his experiences with the likes of Sevy (RIP), Sandy Lyle, Tony Jacklin, Tiger, Tom Kyte and many more whilst competing for that trophy, such an interesting man and very humble about the unexpected life he enjoys from his roots as a Glaswegian steel workers son. He ended in telling us we were lucky to be members of the best golf club in the world, because it's "OUR" club, as is every other members club and to look after it and cherish it, wise words indeed.
Actually got to touch that hallowed Cup and have my picture took with it, what a privilege .
