Hi all.Just like to say what a perfect day its been today.I played in the final of the pairs knockout which we were fortunate enough to win.The actual match was one of the best ive ever played in being close all the way eventualy winning 2 up.The only downside is im gonna be cut 1.5 shots.then i get home and man utd win 4-0 and then england beat the aussies. What more can a man ask for. perhaps a lottery win lol or a win in tomorrows medal or am i pushing my luck.

Shot 77 today (par 71) good conditions and slightly sandy greens. No birdies for a change but also no double bogeys to pull me back down to earth. 75-77 should be my normal scoring but recently Ive really been struggling to keep out of the bushes off the tee. 4 maybe 5 of my bogeys were caused by fluffed chips which although isnt me normally, gave me a little confidence back in my driving. Also managed to get round with about 29/30 putts, not a three putt in sight!
For some reason Ive really struggled to keep the odd double bogey off the card recently and today made me relatively happy that I can still finish out a round DB free. New powered trolley might just have paid for itself already!

Was playing an Ochil League medal at Crieff yesterday. Was drawn with my brother, no-one in front of us, absolutely glorious day, course was in magnificent condition. Zipped round in 3 hours. Played shite but didn't care!!
