As you may know I was due to be in Dublin at the FJ event with Hawkeye and to meet Padraig Harrington but couldn't go as my mum isn't very well. My mobile just ran and it was Mike's number (Hawkeye). Answered it and there was Padraig on the line. Said he was sorry to hear about my mum and we had a great five minute chat. What a guy. No need for him to do that as he doesn't know me from Adam but thanks to Mike, GM and Padraig for really making my day.

Blimey. That's flipping awesome!

He might have turned into a right hacker of late, but I'll be damned if Porridge isn't one of the finest blokes on tour.

I love this place!

I did tell him I was gutted not to be there as I didn't think even he could sort my sgort game out. He laughed and said he was up for the challenge another time. Definitely walking a few inches taller and with a silly grin on my face

very nice of him, a true professional, its the small things that go far

Well said .. its the small things that they choose to do for some one, rather than the things they are obliged to do by sponsors etc that mean alot more .. nice one paddy ..

A class act from a class guy; really pleased for you Homer.

What a great story! :)

Just the tonic you needed Homer.

I wonder if he really will take up the challenge - reading your post makes me think it could well happen.

Golfmmad. :)

A class act, and a real gentleman. It is the small things in life that mean so much. Well done Porridge, Mike and not forgetting Hawkeye.

Homer, i hope things are better for your mother. Keep strong.
