played my local 9 hole course this morning, with 3 guys from work, Two of them quite experienced and have always beaten me (over the last 18 months I've been playing) And a complete novice, the office banter all week has been of me losing not only to them as normall, but also to the newcomer...! (no pressure)

Well.....

The joy of coming a close second was immense, I can certainley say it was one of those days where it all clicked, and my driving of the tee was straight for a change and my short game was good.... my confidence grew hole after hole and the feeling (even as high high scoring punter)
Was fantastic, I can see why Golf is so addictive... Todays rounds although only 9 holes will live with me a long time..
Only down side was going into double figures on the last whole due to lost ball (something I was trying to avoid) but that aside roll on monday mornings office banter :-)
Cheers
Jamie

Well done its magic when that happens. Today in our monthly medal I started 8 then 7 (poor shots due to the 25 mph wind!) the finished with a three over gross of 75
