Tee height I mean. I was using the silver castle tee's that I used to great effect with my Mizzy mx560 driver. I now use the Ping g10 and continued to use the silver tee's with good results (I thought) until the other evening when I didn't have any in the bag and was forced to use some old wooden tee's I had with me. In order to get the ball to stand on the tee I had to push them further in than I would have liked, but what a transformation, BANG! right out of the sweet spot, straight, high and lonnnggg. The silvers are out of the bag just teeing down a fraction of an inch has made a massive difference to my driving.

Basically... if you tee up with silvers it is higher than the wooden ones. The ball rolls up the face of the driver creating backspin and therefore determines the height of the drive. However, if you tee too high the ball does not get a chance to roll up the face and i don't know what happens then haha :S

funny that drawboy.

I use Silver Castles (pushed in a bit, I must add) for my drivers but always went with the Pink ones for my G5 when I had it.

Maybe it's a Ping thing. Pink for Ping.

The height (and getting it right) is an absolute MUST.
We all get all obsessed with C/F drivers and face loft and launch angle but actually, we need to try different heights with different drivers.

I'm glad you've discovered something good. It's never "one-size-fits-all" with these things.
