what a bargain

Over the past few weeks I have been trying various drivers, and it was between the Ping G25 and the Nike Covert. I prefered the nike due to the adjustability so have been looking over the past few days saw them for £169 in AG. Today on my way home called into local shop on the bypass.

£99 Nike covert driver, stiff shaft brand new. Now just need a swing, andyone know where I can get one of those.

There was a thread a couple of days ago about Silvermere golf store that had them for £99, but you could use that price for AG to price match, and they knock another £10 off the price.

No they are just selling loads of stock of, seems to be workingas plently then stay to use the on site range with their new clubs or have a brew in the cafe.

Its a really friendly shop and decent gear

i love my nike driver im pretty friendly with my american golf team as they are just round the corner from me and just ask them to sell you it cheap they have massive margins really on stuff and yoou can usually haggle a deal. i bought my driver and 5 wood for £300 i think i saved about £90 at the time

Yeah its a good shop now with a vast range to choose from,im a member of the course and saw the drivers at that price and was going for a knock with mate who has one he wasnt too pleased especially when i asked for a go of his and nailed it down the middle and it did feel nice to hit which then was in my head about changing my driver arghhhhhh why did i ever have a go :smirk:

I think I tested that driver last week at the range there. £99 ex demo model - stiff shaft. And yes it's a great set up at Rainford.

There were 2 demo's and the one I picked up, I asked them could I two of them, the one I bought with the seal on it, and a demo so I could acutally hit it a few times to check it was def for me.
