Just watching the WGC at Doral... Looks like every single player is either in the water or bunker. Everyone struggling to hit the greens and fairways. Tough course not being aided by the wind.

Tiger struggling.. I am surprised paddy power is not taking bets on him pulling out..

Tiger struggling? Really? He's hitting fairways and greens and looks in control of his game at the moment and he's had some very good birdie putts skim the hole and lip out and is currently just +1 but could easily have been -2.

Dufner is taking all the tricky bounces and water out of play by getting to each green entirely via sand.

Seems to be working as he's leading atm.

The combination of high winds and rock hard greens looks pretty daunting.

I was there as a spectator three years ago (hence my avatar picture, I'm the 'I'), and the course was nails then, before the changes.

Donald just tweeted hes off for a nap.............

Then the PGA tour announces players are heading to the range with play due in 30 mins

What is H S Kim wearing... New trends in golf attire? Would be thrown out at our club for 'distress clothing'

Anyone else loving whats happening to the pro's?

Its like watching club golfers.... well the scoring resembles it, some of us look far better :whistle:

You stole my words... i cant help but feel a bit smug. Every weekend, we go and grind on soggy greens, muddy fairways come rain or wind. Now I wonder how I will score if I play on the tour :ears:

Thing is, I don't want to watch the Stars hacking it around in the same way I wouldn't want to watch Barcelona knocking the ball about like Aylesbury Utd..

OK, I don't necessarily want a Birdie-fest but then I don't want a Bogey(or worse)-fest either...
As I write there are 12 players under par with nearly half of the second round gone....Young Vic - 7 over after 8 today....
Each to their own but it holds no interest for me.
The winner will be the one that plays less rubbish than the rest...much like most US Opens...

It was fun for a bit.. but now it is unwatchable.. Trump just made a hash of a course. I wonder if one of the pros pulls their tee shot into his smug helicopter??

Having said that .. some interesting shots.. Tiger's putt & Stricker's chip in..

Rors driving well, but putting seems to be deserting him just like last week.
