Got a close friend who is looking to move courses and is considering Weybrook.

He is a new golfer who is currently a member at Sanford Springs and is pretty unhappy with their new fee structure along with the whole feel of the place.

Plays off 28 (not for long!) and is a relatively infrequent golfer but wants his son to get involved as well.

Can anyone out there shed some light on Weybrook or possibly suggest an alternative?

Thanks in advance folks.

Nico,
Weybrook is a good course and they are currently extending it adding another 9 holes I think. I am not a member but when ive played there it has always been in good condition with the greens in particular very good.
Theres lots of courses in this area, Im a memeber at Test Valley which I would recommend especially for new golfers (like me)its has a really friendly relaxed atmosphere and is quite an open course and plays well all year round, would be happy to take him out and could probably get him a free round as a potential new member ?
