West Derby Golf Club - Liverpool _ advice

Just wondering if anyone has played the above and could give any advice?
I'm playing it for the first time tomorrow and wondered if anyone could give me an idea of what to expect (Narrow / wide open ???

Ive seen them on TV, it's what all those rich folk down south have

Nip down here sometime, we've borrowed loads from them over the years

Getting back to the OP, it's a few years since I played it but it's a nice course, standard parkland stuff. I wouldn't say it was tight, but there are plenty of mature trees. As long as you're not too wild you'll be fine

Its a decent course nice and flat not too punishing. They dont have a spike bar so dont forget a pair of shoes if you want to have a drink afterwards.

I played it a few years ago in a Royal Mail society day out, knobbed it into the brook 30 yrds off the 1st tee,smashing start ha ha

pretty decent course and facilities , but its seriusly rough round there.....
