I saw this before on Golfempire, I was maybe going to play the Newbury & Crookham event and maybe some later ones. How has the interest been ?

Hi Rod - I might have some hair left at the end of it all!! - 33 entries for salisbury next Tuesday - Bril - some coming from Kent, 4 or 5 from Tiverton and area, also Bristol.............Already 6 or so for Newbury, and will start pushing that one after Round 1 - its a smashing course, played it last year.........will be sending poster to your club in the next few days, i'll have to find out members cost from the man for that round!

Some good courses in there. Played a few of them, and the cost of the golf looks reasonable as well. Hope it all goes well LCV.

Can I use a non club handicap certificate? Ie one from an online score tracker? I am not a member anywhere and don't have an official one....

Pps. The pro at n&c would verify my hcap too if needed...

Hi, You will be very welcome - one thing I have aimed at is to get everyone involved, not just those that have official handicaps - as long as you have a "verifiable" handicap, then that is good enough....we have enough systems in place that will certainly look after the flyaway 46 points for the round after!!!!! - Entries are open for round 2 at Newbury, and forms downloadable on www.wessexgolf.com - come along and have fun!
