Simple question

Would you pay £195 to play Wentworth in March ? Yes or no ?

You have got to be joking ? No, not any where near my top 20 courses played. The West is a long slog in winter/spring, well for me any way, perhaps not for the average forumer. Driver, three wood to most of the par 4's:( I prefer the East anyway, but personally think the West is one of the most over hyped courses around. Play Hankley for less than half that, and play a classic heathland course.

The 4 Ball has already been bought by someone so it's only Wentworth.

I wouldn't pay £195 for a day ticket inc lunch for Wentworth in March.

That wasn't the question.

If we have good weather over the next few weeks and it's dry then yes

Might not had been the actual question but the answer is the same...I wouldn't pay £195 to play The West at any time of the year, just as I wouldn't pay that to play anywhere at any time of the year...

I realise it is already booked Phil, but if you ever want a really good deal have a look at St Georges Hill. You can play 36 holes from the 1st March through to May for £90. I may be biased as I am playing there tomorrow for at lot less than that at their February rate.

Yeah we are looking at some deals around the country - got a few booked in so far

Grove
Stoke Park
Brockett Hall
Studley Wood
Buckinghamshire
Princes

I definitely would - as a one off. After spectating at the BMW PGA over the last 5 years it would be great to walk and play the same course as the Pro's. Not from the back tees though!
