Received an invite this afternoon to an all expenses paid Charity Golf Day on Thursday, 18 holes on the Edinburgh Course at Wentworth, with breakfast, range balls, buggies, gala dinner etc etc.

Never been to Wentworth before, can anyone provide any info on the Edinburgh Course??

Thanks in advance

I played it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Great driving course where you most definately have to hit the right side of the fairways. Dont always reach for the driver..... Greens were big and super quick too.

Yes, decent course, that tends to go under the radar compared to the West and East. Not such a slog as the West at this time of the year.

Keep it straight, don't three putt and enjoy it, you lucky b!

He may be aluding to the likely impact of the change in ownership...

The Edinburgh was built as a stadium course to replace the West in competitions - as such this failed and the West was upgraded.

It's a good course its own right but possibly too many dog legs for my liking. Good test and quite an interesting course to play at any time of year. Good halfway hut to!
