went out for a few holes last night...

Met my bro at the club at the back of 6. I decided only to take 5 clubs + putter; driver, 21º fybrid, 7i, PW, 53º wedge and putter.

Managed to get 10 holes in and finished up with 44... that included two par 5s. best golf i've played in a while and it was just a great feeling to go out with a bag that hardly weighed anything and walk where i wanted. I'm going to do it more often.

Nice shooting Slugger, no pressure, empty course and a light bag makes this game easy eh Counting down the days when I can finish work at 6, and still get 18 holes in easily.

Our unofficial course record was set during our 7 club competition. Just goes to show that you don't always require a full set in the bag to score well.

Great stuff. So why do we need all this kit again!!?

Must admit that I do sometimes like leaving the trolley behind and taking out only 12 clubs and just wander around with the carry bag. It just seems a bit more natural for some reason. Though I won't be giving up the GoKart anytime soon despite that. I just can't be fagged with it for a late afternoon knockabout. Mind you, I always forget to transfer something from the cart bag to the carry bag, be it balls, tees, towel................ There's only one answer. Have two complete sets of everything!!
