My golf club has been looking for a new secretary for some months and we have now apparently found "The Man" who will take the reins. Guess which club he has decided to leave to take up our appointment - yep ... Lydd Golf Club .... the club that I have taken the P*** out of ever since I first posted here.

I hope that he has never seen this forum or, at least, has a sense of humour, or I'm out in the 4pm group in mid winter comps!

Mmmm tricky one. Ask him how come no-one was playing the monthly stableford in perfect conditions on a Saturday morning with 8 cars in the car par when we were there. That should get you off on the right note
