Our 36 hole open yesterday and in the first round I shot nett 74 CSS74 (SSS71/par71) in the second round it was net 77 CSS74 and obviously the same SSS etc.

I was cut .2 for the morning round. That's now 3 handicap cuts in about 5 comps so could the .2 be an ESR?

But I have had 1 round of -4, one reduced to -3 on CSS and now -1 so that's 3 cuts

Has to be 2 rounds at a minimum of 4 better than CSS within 10 rounds to trigger an ESR.
1st time will flag an ESR and second one will trigger it. Amount will be dependant on how much the average of the 2 rounds was better than CSS, and what the time interval was.

Note to self: must type faster!

you need two scores of CSS -4, the time between the two rounds will determine what ESR you get

Gentlemen, it's not time that's relevant. It's the number of qualifiers between occasions of CSS-4.

Yes I know.....that's what I put... The time between the 2 occurrences, ie consecutive rounds attract the biggest ESR and 10 rounds between attract the lowest ESR
