Just to congratulate Laura Davies on winning the Australian
Open at The Metropolitan Club at Melbourne. It was her 72nd Career title. She won 75,000 AUD but not as much as her male counterpart(Tim Clark) who won 270,00 AUD!

I watched Laura at the Oxfordshire years ago during the English Open and boy can she hit a ball.

Most of the rest of the girls were hitting it similar distances to me but when Our Laura hits one - it stays hit!!

Two things really.
One, she won due to the spanish golfer bottling it on the last.

Two, 70 odd wins on tour, and they are saying she needs one more to get into the hall of fame. What? what more do you need to do? Who else is in it, apart from Sorenstam?
