Just read a report in another magazine, GM is now the UKs best selling Golf magazine. Its readers are now up to 83,002 which is up 8.2% Today’s Golfer is on 81,790 readers and Golf world on 30,034

So well done your hard work is really paying off!

I also thought GM was duller but after I had read a few copies it was evident that GM was far superior it is written by Golf nuts for Golf nuts! Where as TG is more like a comic for someone who likes golf and biased Gear Reviews.

I read Golf Monthly, Todays Golfer and Golf World each month (breaks up the daily commute). I have to say I like some of the articles in TG (celebrity challenge and their equipment reviews) but I find it is generally just a glorified ad campaig for VW, Taylormade and Adidias

Golf World is still a weighty tome but a lot of the articles seem out of date. Some of the interviews are quite a good read but it lacks a modern cutting edge and its equipment and teaching articles are pretty poor

That brings me to GM which I think irrespective of being on here, is the best on the market. The balance between features, interviews, equipment and tuition is just about right and their news is relatively up to date (given print deadlines). The greater reader participation also makes it a must buy to see which forum members are in it each month

Well done guys for leading the way again. Keep up the innovation and if you are planning a day out somewhere to celebrate I'm available !!!!!!!

I think you have hit the nail on the head there HTL. TG is like ITV compared BBC news. ITV (TG) is all flashy graphics, looks good but lacks any real substance. GM is the BBC version, functional, practical and informative. Written for the more discerning reader.

I read GM, Golf International and Golf World and prefer them in that order. Though GI does seem to be aimed at the more senior/private member/exclusive/wealthy golfer. I only read TG if desperate. Keep up the good work GM.

Yes, well done GM.

I went through a period of trying all the golf mags and settled on GM cos it covers all the angles. My missus pointed out why GM was a better than TG - TG has no substance, just gloss. I'm sure I would have figured this out myself eventually! Curious though that the readership numbers are so close - must be the TG gloss...

The numbers are so close because we nearly all buy them both, I buy GM, TG and GW.

I subscribe to GW and TG and am waiting for a tempting deal to do GM.

Nice one GM.

I read every golf mag i can get my grubby child like mits on, except Golf Punk...

I travel from manchester to london for meetings alot and always stop off at the stand and stock up on golf mags for the journey.

Is it a bad thing to say I quite like Golf Punk, even tho I am not their target audience at all?

Too old,too fat,too short,too bald.

CONGRATS!

I sometimes try the others too, if I can fit them under my Galvin Green before bailing out of the Tescos loo window.

Golf World is a bit snoozeworthy for me......
