Well done Craig Lee

Just want to big up Craig Lee!

He runs a wee golf centre in Stirling in an industrial unit, doing clubfitting and teaching etc, very nice guy. When I spoke to him earlier in the year he was seriouslt thinking about stopping playing tournaments to concentrate on his business.

His mate gave him the entry fee for Q School and he became one of only four people to get from the first stage right through to qualification. I spoke to him again last week, he was heading to South Africa for the Dunhill championship.

He has just finished his second round and is one shot off the leader!

Looking at his record this past season he has certainly been playing well for most of the season.

Well done to him, hope he can keep it going over the weekend.

Here, here. I got my irons from Craig and he is a gem. However he was feeling ill this morning and lost four shots but five birdies brought it back for him.

After he got his card for the tour I had to text him and let him go. I wasn't prepared to fly all over the world for him to take £28 per half hour lesson.
