He played solid today (after looking very vulnerable with the putter yesterday), but no pressure was put on from the others. Always good to see him win, despite costing me a few quid

Only watched the last hour or so... Been watching Le Mans this weekend in preference... Playing spot my 'child' [didn't]... Always pleased to see Ernie win... Treats victory and defeat in the same manner... True gentleman... Looks like Martin Kaymer has shown some decent form this week also...

I think Els is a great guy from what I see of him on the TV-always appears friendly to other players, crowds and TV folk alike. Great swing too IMO.
