As this forum seemed a bit quiet tonight I thought I'd nip over to Todays Golfer and check out there forum. I know where I'm going if I'm having trouble sleeping. Dull isn't the word. It is poorly laid out and the topics are not exactly stimulating and the content even worse. Makes you proud to be part of the best golf forum on the interweb

Glad to have you back mate could have been worse you could have been to golf punk. I got this months TG and it lasted about an hour before I was bored. They really have gone down hill over the last two years.
Its full of adverts, biased reviews and weak features.

I tried it as well about 2 weeks ago (without signing up I hasten to add) and I couldn't believe what utter rubbish it was. Boring topics, unhelpful posts and just a forum full of people saying how good they are at golf and why they are better than everyone else. Thats how I saw it on this occasion anyway.

I definitely prefer it here. GM is my home

Ever tried signing upto golf punk, its impossible to get it to work. You sign up, you get an automated e-mail to go to a link, which doesn't work, so you try & sign in anyway, which isn't recognised, so you try & retrieve your password & you either don't get recognised or apparently the ID is already taken, mainly because you've just set up an account...

I wonder if anyone actually posts on there & how... Its beyond me.

Homer...SWMBO is downstairs watching 'I'm a non-entity keep me in here!'so came upstairs to log on(and watch setanta) followed your lead and logged on to the dark side aka Todays golfer..what a sorry site!Poorly laid out,not too easy to navigate,very few comments or original threads!
Thank God we have home of free speech and thought on here!

Not very impressed to say the least. I'd agree about the poor layout.
