What is the best way to make a driver heavy? Inside shaft plugs /or/outside lead tape on head ?

wondering on the reason behind the question?

generalization but the heavier a club is overall it then takes a bunch more 'work' to achieve CHS than a lighter driver plus, the more likelihood of a slower swing speed

if the question prompted through when swinging not being able to 'feel' where the head is, that could be down to where the kick point is in the shaft, the shaft frequency being a tad too stiff

would have to be real careful of using 'melt' or tape as could well alter the ability to square the face up if more weight nearer toe or vice-versa if more nearer heel
shaft plugs going to effect how the shaft responds during loading plus if weighting the hosel end then weight at the heel

hard to say but maybes better looking to change shaft best to go talk to a Pro who fits if you able too or specialist fitter

Want to feel the head.Feels so light and non responsive.I tried 32 grams of weight on top of club and really lost tons of distance.I was thinking maybe 12 -24 grams by the heel - hosel
