Weekend trip May 15

Looking to go to Wentworth to watch the PGA champs on the Saturday and then watch the US Open Quals at Walton Heath on the Monday. Looking to play somewhere nice, not extravagantly priced fri and Sunday. Anyone played or live in Surrey to recommend some good courses. Looking at sunningdale old, but think will be pretty busy on that Sunday!!

Tyrrells Wood is a nice course and not too expensive. Don't know how close it is to where you will be staying but worth a pop if close by....

Erm.....have you looked at the green fees for Sunningdale? 2nd only to Wentworth in the area, I doubt you will get much change out of £200 on a Sunday next year. Have a look at geting yourself a county card, some decent courses available on there, quite often at a rate similar to the guest fee.

I doubt if I'd ever have played places like Bearwood Lakes, Blackmoor or Coombe Hill without putting myself out there.
