Tales of joy only here please.

If you played sh!te, boo hoo, stop bringing us down and bugger off!!!

I thought we needed a balance to Region3's anger thread for those who played well this weekend without anyone bringing you down.

I haven't played yet so don't know which thread I'll post on tomorrow but those who have and have played well, boast away, tell us how good you were :D

I need to post on both threads

11 Points on the front nine caused anger and frustration.

24 points on the back 9 caused much joy and hapiness and the 2 to win some money helped.

Overall, pretty happy with the recovery so will post here.

I found a Top flite and a Callaway red :)

I also watched Teegirl hit some great shots :)

I even managed to get a few into the air myself :D

And the postie came and completed my set of irons :D

Been struggling with the driver since the Hotchkin. Went back to basic, grip, ball position, but today EUREKA, it was rhythm just taking it back a little slower, and bam....straight down the middle. Happy man. :D

Played society outing sat , very windy, on strange course, shot 25pts, coulda shot better but off my society handicap of 1 i guess it was ok (woulda been 33 off club handicap) . found out on sunday that 27 won the outing by a guy off 22h/c.. won a catogry prize so will get cut (prob only 1 due to score )meaning il be SCRATCH next outing ,,, over the moon.. if only i can get official one down now it b great

Played yesterday afternoon. Hitting the ball really well (again) 19 points on the front, 17 on the back.
Bit disappointed with my back 9 score as I was level par after four holes (two bogies, two birdies) and then proceeded to drop 7 shots on the last 5 holes which was a bit annoying after the way I had played the front 9. A couple of duff chips and a wayward drive on the 15th which found a water hazard did the majority of the damage.
But in a much happier place with my golf now. Hitting some decent drives, and my iron play is much crisper. Feeling a lot more confident over the ball, which is half the battle won.
