Hello I'm buying new wedges 50 and 60 that fit into my set just right, My old ones have had its time now and its a good time to get some new ones.

With wedges i know its more personal preference but id like to know peoples opinions.

I dont care what brand you talk about as long as they sell 50 and 60 wedges.

Thank you

whats wrong with your old ones, worn the grooves out, shaft snapped, etc

Thanks alot, But could you tell me why you picked these?

Because they are very good wedges - high build quality and clubs that I found comfortable when I did some wedge testing.

Your best bet as with any club choice is to try a load out.

Have you already got one for the middle? 10* is a very big gap.

The top brands are all pretty good, it depends what you like the look of and whether you want forged or cast. I would pick from:

Titleist (New SM5's out soon)
Cleveland
Mizuno

These in my opinion are the best specialist wedge manufactures.

Mizuno get my vote, obviously, as I have T4's in the bag.

On balance, I'd give some thought to Vokey wedges as they offer, arguably, the biggest choice in loft and bounce combinations not to mention the differing sole grinds if you wanted to get really in-depth about it all.

I have callaway mac daddy 2 wedges. The spin out the rough is unreal. Much better than my remaining ping tour wedge

Look to Calloway wedges then as you seem comfortable with them

Seriously the best bit about buying new gear is going the range and testing all the gear , do this and make your own choice on feel and ball flight
