Just bought some new heads out of moogies massive stocked shop!!!!

Just thinking of what wedge shafts to put in them

Will different shafts make much difference (except in price)

Or should I just stick some dynamic golds in

Im sure someone told me you should have slightly stiffer shafts in your wedges?

I heard that they should be a bit softer, should give you better feel as the majority of wedge shots were partial rather than full so the shaft isn't loaded as much, I think the Dynamic Gold wedge flex is the equivalent of an 8 iron.

True Temper wedge flex is S200 so will be softer for people who play S300 and firmer for those who play R300. Different theories about whether to go softer or firmer. Most people can't tell the difference because you don't tend to swing the wedge like a medium iron. Or at least you shouldn't.

Best thing is to try a few wedges and see what you like.

Understand that the KBS Wedge flex is also just a touch softer that the normal KBS tour stiff shaft

When I had my Titleist fitting I was told standard wedge flex (s200) was the way to go. Paying for the same shaft as the irons was a waste of money. He also said they would ideally be a bit softer than your irons.

Have you tried the DG Spinner shafts? I think they're great. I've got a couple of demo clubs with them in if you want to try them. Just shout next time your in the shop.

I thought wedge flex was just the unmatched shafts that DG make and don't quite fit into there 'allocated' flex. So could be s200,s300 or s400.
I pulled my wedge shafts a few weeks ago and found 2 to be s200 and one s300 even though all 3 where labeled as s300.

I personally prefer s200 as it has a smoother feel.
