Are specialised wedge shafts worth considering?

Looking to reshaft a couple of wedges with something in the 105-115g weight range.

Anything worth considering?

Not specialist wedge shafts, but I love my KBS C Taper lite 110g stiff in my Pings. Might be worth a look?

Worth remembering that wedges are all about control rather than distance. It is why they are heavier and stiffer as standard.
I play regular 105 in my irons but stick with DG R300/ S200 or similar in my wedges.

That's the key for me too.

I much prefer a heavier, stiffer wedge shaft than my irons.

I used to love Rifle Spinners in wedges. Likewise I've always got on well with Nippons as well

Not a big fan of KBS (any KBS shaft for that matter). Funnily enough I've never got on with UST Recoil shafts in any club either. For all the fitting in the world, sometimes some shafts just dont feel right.

Given wedges are a "feel" club, it may take a couple of tries to find something that you are happy with. I guess a good starting point might be the same shafts as you have in your irons perhaps in a heavier weight.

I'm similar, use around 110 gram in irons, don't like going much heavier in wedges. The Callaway Jaws come with a stock 115 , they feel a nice weight.

Got some KBS Hi Rev 2s on the eBay offer so down to £30 a shaft with all the discounts

Have KBS shafts in my irons so hopefully a good fit .
