Wedge set-up advice

My current set up is :

TM Burner 2.0 PW (45*)
Cleveland CG15 Gap (50*)
TM Burner 2.0 SW (55*)

Now i think i need a lob wedge.

Anyone advise me on whether to get a 58*, 60* or higher?

Most would probably say a 60 but my highest is 58 and I can open it up if need be so I'd say get a 58.

I find myself having to play cute chips over greenside bunkers into tight greens with my sand wedge but I feel I would be able to play the shot better with a higher lofted club.

I would try learning a high spinning technique with your current clubs, I can stop my 52* pretty sharp on most distances, the 56* only comes out in bunkers or from the rough for chips and pitches.

The other solution is to stop putting yourself in those situations?

With the 60 you will be able to hit some shots you don't hit at present, like the knifed ball across the green or the fatted 20 yard shot from the fairway.

Nobody 'needs' a lob wedge, but who is anyone to tell you that you shouldn't get one?

You could learn to play shots by opening up a SW, but I'd just buy a 60 if it were me. If you don't get on with it then don't use it.

I have a PW - 46 degree, a 52 degree gap wedge and a 58 degree sand wedge. My SW has a wide sole to allegedly make bunker shots easier but I can't say I've noticed a huge difference and may look at a bog standard version
