Anyone see Webbers crash in todays F1  Amazing that he walked away from it, one of the most spectacular I've ever seen.

Coulthard was arguing that the other car should have let Webber through as its about 4 seconds a lap slower.

Firstly, why are there cars that slow in the race - if they're not capable of racing then don't!
Secondly, they were fighting for position so the Virgin(?) car had every right to defend.
Thirdly - great crash.

Was pretty impressive. Did anyone see the shots from inside the cockpit - Awesome. Glad he walked away as it looked pretty serious at the time

The pictures from inside the cockpit were amazing, How impressive is the safety technology involved with F1 cars that he was able to walk away from that crash.

The safety in those cars really is impressive. That's an almost identical crash to one I saw many years ago. Can't remember who it was now, but the very same thing happened - caught up too fast to the car infront, wheels touched and he did a backflip.

I think you'll find it was Barrichello (sp?)
;)

Good point.

According to my befuddled old brain doing a bit of mental arithmetic that has got to be only about 50/60 yds a lap assuming an average speed of about 120mph. Braking on 2 corners would account for that!!
