Supposed to be playing at Bathgate gc invitation at 2pm today , theres weather warnings out saying heavy rain heading slowly this way coming from down south.

Anyone down south getting heavy rain just now???????

Very heavy rain today - flooded the course making it unplayable - made the choice to delay the completion of the first round of Club Champs until tomorrow. Then it stopped raining an hour later and now getting flak for it

Perfect sunshine in Grantham all morning for my round. Rained for a couple of hours around 2 but the sun is back out again now

Drove the 12.35 back from Chester this afternoon.

Steady rain in Cheshire,
Bit of sun in Stafford,
Apocalyptic showers between Rugby and Berhamstead.

Can see how a greens/fairways could have been flooded by the showers, but once they've passed through I would have thought that the warmth and current dry conditions would leave it playable within an hour.

We got away with it! A few spells of fairly heavy rain but not enough to get us in or ruin the round! Apart from my soft arse playing partner who used the wind and rain as an excuse for playing badly!!!

Had a shower about half an hour before we teed off yesterday but nothing during the round or for the rest of the afternoon even though we had weather warnings for heavy rain.
Had a few showers today but nothing to worry about.
