Anyone know anything which will reproof the jacket and trousers.
Last week I gave them up and just played in the tee shirt as they let that much water through.

What material are they made out of?

They are a bit old and worn, Ive used them for the last 8 years.
At the time i thought them has vanished in the wind.
it was rather heavy rain as we abandoned at the 9th when the ball started rolling with the river of water on the green.
Even worse then Spey valley last year.

Nikwax do a re waterproofing agent. They also sell tech wash for washing waterproofs without damaging the coatings.

Nikwax tech wash is brilliant stuff! I used it on my waterproofs and they're like new.

However, not sure how it'd work with 8 year old kit, and I also worry that we expect waterproofs to be akin to wetsuits at times. If the rains really heavy, and wind is blowing too, then you're going to get wet!

Get yourself to a hiking, outdoor shop such as" Blacks" they will sort you out.

going to get a yellow waterproof suit from work, I think.

Get your arse onto ebay and type in ProQuip.
I got myself a really decent set, bought the jacket from one place for about £39.00 and the matching trousers from somewhere else for about £29.00.
Cheap as chips and a lovely, lightweight suit.
Totally waterproof too.
