"Waterproof" winter trousers.....

What do you recommend?
You know the kinda thing, like normal trousers, not standard waterproof overtrousers...

Any favourites out there?

Under Armour ColdGear Trousers.
I was lucky enough to pick up a pair of these at TK Maxx for £16. Fantastic golf trousers for the winter. Comfortable, warm, wind and weather resistant. I recommend them very highly.

Another thumbs up for under armour, really warm and moderate rain just rolls off. Don't get too warm on those odd days when it isn't as cold as predicted

Think from memory Stromberg do some of these. Always find them to be accurate on their sizing and makes buying online easy without worrying if they'll come up short/long or be too tight in the waist

Another vote for the UA Cold Gear trousers. Had a couple of pairs for 5/6 years and just bought another pair from County Golf for around £20. Nice and warm and can't take quite a pounding.

I feel you are looking for something lighter the Ian Poulter Tech Trousers are great

i have the Stromberg wintra trousers that are excellent and i don't need my proquip waterproof trousers now as thry are windproof, thermal lined and water repellent.

i wore them on the Woburn meet and even during the late afternoon downpour they kept the rain out.

Gelnmuir also do the same 3in1 trouser

Got mine from County Golf, they've always got a few in. Much better than over trousers.

I'm happy to take my Jacket on/off, but my overtrousers are just a faff

Have used UA coldgear ones on showery days for several years and are excellent, also picked up some lined Ping ones in the sale earlier this year. On days where its likely to be really wet I tend to just wear my galvin greens as my trousers

I've just bought another pair of ColdGear Storm trousers off ebay. Light, water resistant and fantastically comfortable.
