Any one used one of these, often found car parks these days?
As someone who used to wash fire-engines at least once a day when I was working I cannot imagine washing a car without a copious supply of water.
And yes ,I realise I may be seen as a lazy beggar!!!!

I refuse to let anyone other than myself was my car, or the wifes.
I saw what one of these "handwash" places did to my mothers car over a period of time, stripping the wax and turning the finish into an egg like finish, and once it started it was impossible to get back.
They use chemicals far to strong and aggresive for a car body, I would avoid like the plague.

As a very keen amateur car detailer, the thought of grit-laden sponges etching scratches/cloths/towels into a car's soft paint makes my toe curl!

You can't beat the proper washing method: two buckets, water, shampoo, mitt and car towel.

Not for me...

However a former workmate [who lived in a flat] would use a waterless system to keep his vehicle clean in the works car park... Big spray of the dollop that he used over the area he was cleaning then a careful wipe off with some huge cloths [microfibre I am guessing]... Looked to do a good job, not that I looked that closely... Car wasn't his pride and joy mind..
