Is it possible?
Working today and tomorrow so would love to watch the singles on Sunday.
Obviously got the PC and also have a "Smart" TV....

How can I go about it please???
:confused::confused::confused:

Just had a look and I can get a days pass for £6.99 which I don't mind paying for (obviously!).
Will that work without Sky or a Satellite dish on my TV?
Sorry for the numpty question, this is all new to me (technology that is).
:mad:

Yes they work through your broadband (WiFi) signal and you don't need to have a SKy subscription.
I was watching the coverage on my Note 2.0 last night using the Mobdro app, only work on Android devices though.

Doubt it, pop yourself down to Argos. Either the deal with a couple of passes, or just the box and the week pass from their web site (comes via email so quick)

What the Now TV box? It's just a hdmi cable out from the box into your tv like normal, the Now Tv box gets the signal from your internet connection.

No mate. Appreciate your help but I don't have a Now TV box. Just a Samsung smart TV with wireless internet connection and obviously my PC. Don't want to have to faff around buying boxes etc. unless I can really help it.
;)

I got a NowTV box for the Ryder Cup and can watch it through my TV, however if I log into my NowTV account on my laptop I can watch it on there too

I am really sorry to be a total and utter numpty, but won't having a Now TV box interfere with the normal running of my TV or cause conflicts?
I thought the idea behind them was to turn a "non smart TV" into a "smart" one????
I am thick. I know I am.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

No - it works just the same as for example connecting a DVD player to your TV i.e. an extra device.

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS???!!!!

Thanks guys, I'm in! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(home from work sick, I am actually sick, but this will certainly make the day go easier) ;)

If you go onto the Now TV website they have a limited offer. £10.99 for a 7 day pass, which covers the ryder cup, football and NFL etc. Got my pass yesterday.

You should be able get the NOWTV app on your smart TV...if not get a box from Argos as mentoned. You can also watch from PC or tablet or phone.

I'm stupid same as Smiffy ;). I also have a smart tv (Panasonic) so are you saying I can download the now tv app on my tv and buy the pass so I don't have to buy the now tv box?

Cheers
