Yes , but then the rains came and I ended up on 38 points for 89 shots

I have handed in 2 supp cards recently and played in last weeks Stableford comp and Im playing in wednesdays medal

handicap has dropped from 23 to 21 in 2 weeks

Agree it needs to come down further, but I can only do what the system allows

Chillax man, dont worry about my game, concentrate on yours 5.1 does have a ring of certainty about it at present

Fragger, keep doing what you are doing. I think in comps a lot of it is more course management and short game for you. Having seen you up close and personal even on an indifferent day and a few years back there is the potential for mid teens with ease.

Not sure what happenned but in the last 6 weeks, something has clicked big time, it just takes time to register in handicap reductions which is a little frustrating

My target at beginning of the year was to break 20, now I want to break 18 and im certainly playing at that level, I posted a few days ago that with a par od 70, sss at 69 and css normally 68, that I have to shoot 3 over handicap to get a .4 reduction, so its hard going, but I will get there.

Short game has tightened up nicely, its the odd duff drive that is costing me.
the other good thing is that ive played at 2 other courses recently, (Aylesbury vale and Harewood Downs) and have scored well at each, which has to be good.

Front 9 was 41 today, that is a record, if it wasnt for the rain on the back 9 I could have done a PB (currently 88) I made 89 today

Considering I was on the Ping PYB break 90 team, to be on target to nearly break 80 after 9 just shows how far I have come

Still work to do of course, but Im a very happy golfer although Little Chubby Bro obviously is not

Great stuff again Phil, some really consistent good scores of late, by the time Im fit again your handicap may have caught up with your ability

On the plus side here, finally came off crutches yesterday, just the rehab now lol
