WANTED - Shaft for lob wedge

Been stung (abit) on eBay, picked up a 58 degree Vokey SM wedge in good condition, however it appears the length is 1" short (34") and this wasn't advised!.

Looking for a True Temper (DG Spinner if possible or S300) standard lob wedge length (35.25"?)

If anyone could fit the shaft too that would be great........ :thup:

gamola from about a tenner. Maybe pro will fit it if you've not got a heat gun blow torch.

Butt plugs but go carefully with the google searches......

Depending on what grip you need, you could easily do it yourself for about a tenner total. Craft knife to get the old grip off and cleanup shaft. Shaft extension from Gamola with a bit of araldite. New tape, and grip (again from Gamola) and jobs done.

....not sure why you would need a heat gun to extend shaft though

Hi Brendy, excuse my lack of knowledge but I haven't heard of that before?

As the crude crew D) tried to explain, you (or a pro) remove your old grip and add a new small plug (Ive seen people use an old bit of cut shaft) and glue it into the butt end of the shaft then regrip it, job done, no need for a new more expensive shaft job...err as it were.

I cannot remember but think it's a SM4, will check and advise but can't until Saturday as I'm away from home till then

Matty, it may not actually be shorter at all.

I had a vokey 52* and it was around 3/4 of an inch shorter than my Tp 58* , identical to the one you have listed. Before jumping in compare it against another vokey

You've caught me out.... compared it to my 54 vokey and it is exactly .25" shorter (as it should be!)

Still not a wasted exercise as I might try a plug it does feel a bit shorter!
