Hi all,
Just missed out on the Powakaddy Freeway offered earlier last week, so if anyone is thinking of selling up, or has a spare(!) then I would be interested to hear from you.
Would be interested in a Freeway or similar Powakaddy trolleys.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Thanks for the input guys, I have looked at them in detail, but have not seen one in the flesh. They worry me a little as they are a plastic based structure and I don't know how long they will last.
Powakaddy have been around for years and they have a great reputation, but I do appreciate that GoKart are getting rave reviews from all converts.
Does anyone own one in the north west that I could look over?
Cheers,
Jim

They may look plasticy but the key areas are strengthened and I believe there is glass fibre used also.

They are very very strong by the looks of it.

The warranty is also 2nd to none. If it breaks, they send a a van, give you a courtesy gokart and take yours, then return yours all fixed.

Contact GoKart mate, tell them your concerns and I'm sure if you're unhappy after your purchase they will refund you.

Drop them an email asking the question, it cant hurt.

Don't worry about them being strong. I had a look on the website regarding this and they got two blokes to lay / sit on it and drove it round the office!

Cant wait to use mine tomorrow.

Whilst I am in no doubt Powkaddy's are a top piece of kit, I found them a little to pricey.

I managed to pick up a Powerbug Sport X with 36 hole battery from my local Costco for £200 and it is perfect for what I need - humping the clubs about the course, not worried about distance control, etc.

I know not everyone has access to a Costco, but they are on the web and IMO a good piece of kit for the money

Ok, following on from the debate above and the request for someone to come forward with a Powakaddy for sale, I placed an order for a GoKart last night!

I was won over by the website, the slightly dark sense of humour and the warranty promise.

Will report back when it arrives.
Thanks all,
Jim

Powakaddy are the bee's knee's of trolleys. I've had mine now going into my 4th year and it's fantastic. I dont like the look of the gokart's they look like a toy. But then again it's whatever floats ur boat.
Stick with Powakaddy.

You get what you pay for!!

Powakaddy for me, mine has never let me down, and as well as works well it looks great, where as to me, the goKart look like its from Toys R us, I'm sure its a nice bit of kit, but just looks so wrong.

I am thinking of buying a GoKart soon, for me the compact size means it will fit in my locker and I know I wont have to run back and forth to a repairer if it breaks unlike some other brands. Having said that GoKart have increased the cost by nearly 25% over the past 6 months or so to £240ish + transit bag + umbrella holder so adds up to not a cheap option that it used to be.
