Wanted - Fairway Wood - 15-17 degrees.

Well it's time i bit the bullet and committed to giving a fairway wooda good go. I now need some extra length from the fairway and am looking for something specifically for that purpose not for tee shots. Historically , i've been awful with fairways apart from when i had G10s back in the day. I'm going to need RH, Regular i think but not too soft, maybe something with a little shorter shaft than normal to give me more control. No brand snobbery now but nothing white please !!! I'm not looking to spend a fortune as this is experimental but does anyone have anything in decent condition knocking about that they would recommend for someone hopeless like me and that they would be willing to sell ???

If you can wait a few weeks I have an adams Speedline that you can have a go with at Alwoodley. It's a stiff shaft but probably plays midway between reg and stiff. Looking for £50, it's in good nick

I realise this is just below your loft requirement but I have a pretty much as new Adams Tight Lies Tour 14.5° thats fitted with a reg flex Aldila NV65. The NV does play a bit firmer than other regular shafts I have tried with the bonus that it doesn't balloon the ball either.

I have this shaft in my 3 & 5w and love it.
Certainly gives a good ball flight for me.
