Hi Guys

Looking for a really cheap driver, something I can learn to hit a big club with and not worry about damaging it or whatever.

Anyone got anything that's surplus to requirements? Even something that's a bit bashed up and heading to the scrap heap otherwise?

Cheers

Thanks guys, further thought required I think.

My main concern is that as I'm a total beginner (having never hit a "long" club in my life) I'm going to hit more than my share of mis-hits causing damage to the crown of the club, so reluctant to buy something new and flashy! Will check out some local options. Cheers.

American Golf are having a managers' clearance just now, don't know if it is every store, but I picked up a Benross Hotspeed for a nett £5 as I had a £20 gift card to use in my local.

There were some cracking 'bin end' bargains in that day, I saw an Adams Speedline LS driver for £60, and there was a PING G20 (can't remember the price, but if I had had the cash, it would have been mine!) among a plethora of Wilson Deep Reds and other assorted stuffs.

Large variety of clubs too.. drivers, fairways, hybrids, the odd iron and putters.
