Hi everyone,

I desperately need a 56 degree wedge as I keep shooting over greens from 100-70yards. I don't have much cash at the moment so I'm looking for any old club, seriously if it's been in the shed for the last 10 years and you think no-one will want it......I do. If it has a grip shaft and grooves then it'll be perfect.

If anyone can help I'm looking for one urgently. Anyone in Leicestershire/west mids I'd be happy to collect to save the hassle and expense of posting.

Thanks in advance.

I've got a vokey that is no longer is use. Pics attached. Can sell for £15 if you pay the myhermes cost to post out (probably under £3). Paypal gift payment and I'll be happy to post out tomorrow.

That looks just the ticket to me mate. I presume the grip is in ok shape? If you can pm me your paypal details and the total including Myhermes I'll get the payment straight over.

thanks for the help.

While that's an excellent offer from BT@Home, have you considered learning to play half-shots?

What other wedges do you have?

I have a mate who was knackered with anything below 110 - because that was how far he hit hi LW!

Still not great at pitches, but has learnt an 80 yard one.

56 can be a problem for a 'picker' as well as there is often 'too much' bounce - but a ('C' or 'M'?) grind can help that.

I have thought about learning the half shot and I will, but I'm looking for a quick temporary fix and I can then learn half shots from there on in, without repeadtedly ruining good cards.
