Ive been watching it since the start and the wife is now very into it...

sort of lost interest myself, whats wrong with just killing Zombies, all this Character building and plot twists around the living.

my interest was sort of rekindled with the clip of the Tiger wielding Rastafarian.. but only seen him once..

anyone else lost interest in it?

IT is one of the few American series i have seen all the way through. Although I think it is time it started coming towards the end and not just trundling on.
still enjoy the series.
"little pig little pig let me in".

I'm always late to the party and just got into it - halfway through Season 2 when Sky removed it :-(

Seems it's back mid January so will have to wait until then.

Love it. It's one of the reason I've decided to get Now TV. Had previously watched the episodes via alternative means .

Watched Fear the Walking Dead as well and it's nice to see a different perspective with cultural attitude towards the dead changing the way walkers are dealt with. Yes there is slow episodes but if all episode were about killing zombies constantly it would get old quickly. Think this series is going to build to a massive pay off.

didn';t get very far with Fear the walking dead, wife still watches, but not enough Zombie slaying for my likeing

Watched all the Waking Dead, got the last two episodes on TIVO to watch still. Of all the episodes the one after the season break series 7, where the main cast are all lined up, kneeling and Negan kills two of them it the image of the last guy killed that I can't get out of my head. If that bit of special FX and make up artistry doesn't win an award of some kind, I'd like to see the one that would win.

Seems to be the same structure every season:

Episode 1 & 9: Deal with the cliff hanger
Episode 2 & 10: Cliff hanger aftermath
Episode 3-6 & 11-14: Character building
Episode 7 & 15: Build up to cliffhanger
Episode 8 & 16: Big Cliff Hanger

My wife and I are at the same cross roads with The Walking Dead as many here are, it's just getting to the point where it might get a bit boring.

Seems like the whole season will be Neagan & Co being nasty to people, until someone stands up to them. At that point, either Neagan or the person standing up to Neagan will die. Not sure what else can happen?

Unless of course the military show up, turns out the other side of the USA managed to fight back and survive, and now they're clearing the worst parts where they all are. Which would be the end of the show.

I have heard about something that happens in the comics, which may happen in the show, but would probably end the series too...

Dufferman, is that it, is that all yer gonna tell us. What happens in the comics. Bad man.

Philys reply above does sum up the format quite nicely, sometimes you can see what will happen, bog standard down the pub back of a fag packet script writing, but then other times just when you think you know what will happen it takes you off in another direction and you think didn't see that coming.
