Wasnt that announced last month just after the last one finished due to Celtic Manor building conference facilities so can't afford to host it
Also complained about the timing stopping the top players playing in it

Shame. Wasn't Royal St David's amongst others looking to stage more high profile events. Surprised they haven't come in but I guess without sponsors not much that can be done.

Was very sorry to hear this when it was announced as HID and I will be moving to sunny Wales next summer. Was looking forward to being able to go each year.
Guess I'll just have to book a week off in advance and go up to the Open instead! :thup:
